    caterpillars are quite amazing really. I like the fuzzy ones.

    Probably Elephant Hawk Moth. Beautiful moth when it hatches. Used to find Privet Hawk Moths when I was at school, keep them in a tank until they pupated and hatched, then release the adults. Pity that's not a Death's Head caterpillar, they are huge!

    Yes, elephant hawkmoth – found one years ago on some rosebay willowherb when I was a child and watched it turn into a chrysalis then a moth.

    Yep! Elly moth – we get em living in the soil around the fuchia bush. Lovely things.
