    What’s the next operation for?
Hope you get it back to usable soon.

Looking at that modified crutch – did they not offer you the loan of an ortho trolley?

Next op is to fuse it as what is left of the bone is just crumbling away.

No offer of a trolly like that. It would have been useful as I was 3 months with zero weight bearing.

Jesus, you could’ve warned us that it contained such traumatising imagery.

Sitting there with your belly out.

I suspect that you’ll be no weight bearing following this op, so it might be an idea to ask them for one. Either physio or occupational therapy shoud have access to them.

Hope you mend and glad the gangrene went away!

    Off to eat now.

It’s been a long hard road. Hope the fusing op gives you a long term solution. Actually thought of you yesterday when I bought one of those long water fed brushes on a pole for cleaning windows. Never fallen off one, but never been happy on a ladder either.

Well done for even thinking about taking photo’s!

My mate’s in a similar situation after a RTA a few years ago.

He’s still not right, having 4″ of bone missing didn’t help so now he’s got a knackered back. The consultant who looks after him said his legs were ‘smashed to bits’

    Get well soon WCA!

PS, thats a tattoo of a sword handle on his leg, not a knob!

Really hope the next op goes well and recovery is swift. That video was something else. Healing thoughts.

The first two photos wearing the sock I took after calling 999. The rest of the ones ‘at the scene’ were MrsWCA. I wasn’t planning on doing it again and was taking so much morphine I knew I wouldn’t remember.

Your mates leg looks proper sore. I bet that took more than Savlon. My hip, knee and back are also suffering. Part of the reason for the next op – reduce the damage.

WorldClassAccident is a name I was given, not one I chose 🙁
