I have (like many others) been drawn into this facebook crap - but i'm fed up of hearing the inane shite that people spout i.e. 'so and so... loves being a mum' WTF - i don't give a shite - f@ck off!!!! how do i de-freind these twa@ts, what do i click on? i don't want to close my account as besides being an exploitative vehicle for d1ck heads and narcassistic ****ts it is useful for staying in touch with the 5% of my 'freinds' i actually would have a pint with - please help before i kill.

You can just click hide next to their commenty bits and it stops them showing for you

scroll right down to the bottom of your front page. click on where it says "english (US)" (or UK). change it to "English (Pirate)". Hey presto - everything is more entertaining.

i joined up to find a few old uni mates, which ive lost contact with which was cool... but i have to agree there are a good load of freaks on there... who seem to live their life through facebook....
people seem to write about 'what they are feeling' to get sympathy.
its quite funny aswell when people think they are having a private conversation with their 'mates' when infact all can see
but on the whole i get the feeling its a bit of an 'adultfriendfinder' in disguise aswell
im too old for it really....

Hatebook was briefly successful about two years ago, but now seems to be defunct. I'm guessing no fortunes were made.
Anyway, STW fits that description perfectly.
Fair enough Facebook isn't for everybody, but dismissing it because the people you have added as friends are inane and annoying seems a bit daft.
Personally I think it's quite a nice way of sharing info with people in a non-specific manner.
Don't get me started on Twitter though, now that is a pointless tw*t magnet.
