See quite a few now with no diagonal between front and rear seat tubes.

Bigger tubes, smaller rear parallelogram and a rear shock mount to accommodate. Both of mine have proper bracing (road and hybrid), although one is an up-lateral tubed kiddyback (thanks Pete Bird) and the other an old school marathon Super Galaxy in 531.

TJ and GW as stoker. They’ve had loads of time to practice since being banned from here.

Hope there’s plenty of pressure in that rear shock or the stoker’s gonna get his bunghole flayed by the back wheel when that lot hits the deck 🙂

I had a WTF moment today when I happened across a tandem coming the other way with only the pilot, no stoker. Looked very bizarre.

I think they did nose-dive a bit.
That pinkbike link talks about them having to preload the forks at just the right time to get the pop.
