I have a Klien attitude V with shimano hydraulic disc brakes. I was preparing for a ride the night before and when I pulled out the MTB I disocvered no pressure in the back brake. The lever could be pulled right down with no noticeable pressure being applied to the disc. I tried bleeding them (by unscrewing the bleed nipple close to the pad) but with no effect. A friend told me I need to 'inverse' bleed them because they were shimano?
Shall I shove in the LBS for them to do it or is it easy?
I am pretty inexpereinced with discs and especially hydrulic discs. These had worked trouble free since day 1 of buying the bike second hand (on here).
