    Hi,

It's my first time re-installing a HTII crank. Is it possible to push the drive side too far through the bearings? or do I just gently tap it until it stops??

    cheers

Push it until it's up against the cup. It'll all pull into place when you tighten the preload cap on the LH crank.

It cannot be pushed too far. Give it a thump to seat it and fit the other crank. Dont do the plastic nut up too tight though, just enough so as not to have any lateral play.

No you can't push to far through, if it is I would guess you are missing some spacers.

    Ta all,

I had to take it off to change the middle ring and it seemed a bit tight after refitting. I'd tightened up the plastic nut on the non-drive side a bit too much.

    cheers
    Chris
