Anyway, a good route from Sedbergh, over 'The Calf' and down Bowderdale Beck (awkward but rewarding little singletrack). Just before Ravenstonedale watch out for the cows with calves in the field immediately after 'The Gars'; but don't watch them too closely or you'll miss the huge white bull that's in the same field.
