  • How to edit Flash-made .exe file?

I’ve got a looped 10mb .exe file that has music, moving jpegs, and text. It promotes a company. I think it might have been made in Flash.

I need to edit the file (not yet sure how, need to speak to somebody – but possible edits include changing pictures, or editing text, or even changing music. As yet I don’t have access to the original – it’s possible, but perhaps not) and then re-export to .exe. It will be used on a monitor at a conference.

Is there any software other than Flash that I can edit this file with? Currently downloading the fully functional demo of Flash Pro CS5.5, but don’t want to pay full whack as it’s quite pricey, especially for this small job.

Using Mac, also running Windows XP through Parallels.

Have seen this Flash Decompiler that sounds like it might work. Anyone used anything similar?
