  • How much to have a frame builder tweak a steel frame?

    I have a bare steel frame with 27.2mm seat tube. Am toying with the idea of having a stealth cable entry ‘collar’ welded into bottom of seat tube, and possibly a couple of cable tabs brazed onto the down tube.

    As frame is bare metal (ok, it has a clear coat), im not really worried about repaint costs etc.

    What would I likely be charged for such a job?
    IME (none) i’d imagine between £50 and £5000 ?
