Say for a half page or full page ad roughly? Are advertising costs fairly standard across different magazines or do they vary a lot? Cheers!

Vary a lot, and always more than you think.

Maybe a lot cheaper if advertised on there web site
But say a quarter page in the magazine will be around
£ 1,000.00p + Vat.
Your accountant will claim for most of that back as its
needed as part of your businessIf you want to advertise your web site business contact
google its very cheap to do for what I here.Posted 2 years ago # -
If I am running my laptop on battery having the STW forum open cuts my batterylife down by 35%, its amazing how processor intensive those **** videos are. I really wish STW would ditch them and the chain reaction constantly moving sale banner. WE ALL KNOW WHERE CRC is thanks, in fact I have several rusty soggy items from their flood sale. I don't need to have my laptop battery work overtime to remind me of an irish bike shop.

Why don't you just call or email them and ask?
mattATsingletrackworldDOTcom, 01706 813344 and ask for Matt.

Their add rates are very reasonable, about half the price of other magazines.
contact Matt, nice guy to work with and not some outsourced agency..

Yeah I reckon emailing Matt the ad man might be a good idea.

grantway's figure is pretty high. I've advertised in a few mags (Dirt, MBUK, White Lines, etc.) and typically rates are about £150 per month for a 1/8 page ad (although that's generally in the back of the mag, rather than in with the articles).
Singletrack (and MBR!) I couldn't tell you as they never answer emails!

Cheers for the info so far guys. I don't want to waste Matt's time as I'm not looking to advertise right now, just doing a spot of research.
