Had my garage cleaned out again at the weekend, third time in a year.
My two bikes were chained to a ground anchor, but the little pirhanas stripped them both of all their parts, leaving two frames chained to the floor.
What did I do wrong? Lots of things but here's some highlights:
I left the surgical gloves I use to keep my hands clean when working on the bike. They used those to work on the bikes.
I left garden secaturs in there. They used those as cable cutters to strip the bike.
I left my trail tool in my camelbak. They used that to disassemble the bikes.
Just thought I'd mention it to make other people think, if they haven't already about the kind of things left in a garage and how they might help thieves!
Now I'm off to brick up the windows and fix the alarm!
