Starting to look into our family history and putting a family tree together.
Have a fairly big family spread around all over the place and wondered how easy it would be to put together a website based around the family.
Home page & various pages for different parts of the family would be cool if you could add comments to a page to add history etc.
Thinking in this day and age it would be great to get extended parts of the family involved and being able to email old photos etc to build it up.
Easy enough for a relative web design novice (but very computer savvy) to do?

Or better to get a pro involved?

Done this for free http://www.wembiketrack.co.uk just click on the weebly logo to have a go and see what you think. Bit clunky at first but does the job. Paid 25 for the address but rest for free

Unless you’ve bought it for ten years, you were ripped off. Three quid a year for a .co.uk domain.

Have a look at 1&1.co.uk you pay for their tools and service but you do get a professional looking website. alternatively get a book like website building for dummies.
