Right click in an image on the web page and select copy IMAGE location.
Then in the post click IMG button then paste the link into the box
Viola
If you have a personal picture you have to upload it first to an image hosting site like Flickr.

If you can't find the caps lock or apostrophe button, 'downloading' might be a bit beyond your capabilities

you don't 'download' or 'upload' anything.
go and find a picture you want to show us, right-click over it, and you'll get and option to 'copy image location'...
when you post a message, you get a load of buttons above the text box, they're somewhere up there ^.
one in the middle has three letters 'IMG' - click on that, and you get a little box, press and hold the 'ctrl' button, and then press V. you've just pasted the image location. you should see a load of code appear in the main message text box.
here's a picture of a man who's riding a bike in his pyjama's:

I'm guessing he's removed the 'offending' items? Nothing interesting in there as far as I can see

first up you need to host your picture on the web i.e. Flickr, photopic, etc then copy the image location & put that inside the following
[img ] ............... [ /img]
this - without the space before the second & after the third bracket
[img ]http://www.mobexnortheast.org.uk/Quickstart/ImageLib/Mountain-Biking.jpg[ /img]
