My situation is I have a phone socket, into which plugs my adsl filter. This filter has spaces for the phone socket and a smaller space for the modem. I now need to connect my Sky+ box. What do I need to do as I cannot find any filters with multiple spaces…

No it isn’t. Unless you’re American.

    You’ll need a BT splitter, like this – http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/5984228/BT-Telephone-2-Way-Double-Adapter-Splitter-FAX-Modem/Product.html

Plug it into the BT socket on the filter, not the wall socket.

my mistake, I read the bit about a ‘smaller space’ (RJ11) as being the one he wanted to duplicate, when it is actually the BT socket he wants two of. Cougar is on the money.

Yeah – the Sky box requires a phone connection, not a ‘net connection. It’s all very 20th Century.
