I’m a little confused as to the age of my Cotic Soul. It’s not the earliest with the cables on the top tube but the rear mech guides are tubes not cable ties like the one (classic) now.

Is there anyway of knowing which year (how old it is)?

Cut it in half and count the rings?

The cable guides are still tubes, it’s the hose guides that switched to clip-in ones in Autumn 2006 (when the cables/hoses moved from above to below the top tube). So it’s Autumn ’06 – Autumn ’09. BB shell width (68mm is pre Spring ’07) will narrow it down further.

It’s not a 68mm bb. The cable guides are tubes for sure.

I only run one spacer on the drive side so 73mm right?

Sorry, slight highjack – was the replacable mech hangers introduced in ’09? And since then, has there been two versions (the one now sold as the “classic” (’09-’12), and the current one (’12-onwards))?
