  • How do I get my boiler back to life?

    Our boiler is misbehaving. We have had the heating and hot water on all morning but it all seems to have stopped, conveniently as we are about to go out for the weekend.

    It is still making noise. The heating engineer who lives next door is out. Our landlord isn’t answering his phone as he has no signal at his house. Assuming it’s something basic what should I be doing to bring it back to.life?

    That is too small a photo so no way I can see. Have you checked the pressure is correct? Could have just dropped too low.

    I think I have got it going from a mix of button pressing. Don’t know why the picture is so tiny. I will be back if it goes off again.

    (As a landlord) I’d say phone, text, email your landlord. It’s his (chosen) job to sort cr@p like this.
