    As above. Trying to link my sond Nintendo DS up to wireless and its asking for a WEP key

    If you’re on BT broadband its on a sticker on your router. Maybe for others, too.

    *geek disclaimer – had the same problem this week and a fella at girlfriend’s office knew that despite not having BT broadband.

    (I reckon) if you log in to your router setup page it should be listed there

    on XP it’s: start – run – (then you type) cmd – (next you type) ipconfig

    the “default gateway” is your router – stick that numerical address intyour browser’s address line and it should go to setup (may need a password)

    its worth mentioning that wep is very easy to hack. if you can, use wpa2 if your hard/software supports it

    Or at least change the WEP key (which is a password) from the default one the router came with.

    DS no supporty WPA.
