How can I tell if my shimano chain connection pins are 9/10/11 spd?

I have a few of these lying around and in my bag for use on trails, but cannot remember what they are.

For reference, I used a 10sp pin on an 11sp chain… and the chain bent at that spot about 50 miles later.
