  • hose reduction kit – do i need olives?

    May seem like a stupid question. Just bought a set of clarks skeletal brakes (which seem excellent i must say – came with rotor, 2 sets of brake pads and a hose reduction kit)

    now this hose reduction kit comprises of a straight connector (with a insert) and a compression nut am i right in thinking i don't need anything else?

    also do i need to bleed after cutting the hose?
