  • Hope Tech X2 – What rear rotor size?

    Putting a 183mm rotor on the front of my hardtail but what do other Tech X2 owners think is needed on the back?

    My guess is 160mm will do but after having 160mm on the front & having to go to 183mm to get enough power should I just go for the same out back?

    Depends on what type of riding you intend to to, and how much weight the brakes need to stop…

    I doubt you'd ever regret fitting a 183mm to the rear.

    Pretty much XC but some steep downhills, weight is about 11 stone.
