Been thinking of getting a new road wheelset built with hope hubs, but while shopping around noticed a couple of user reviews that mentioned they need to use dura ace cassettes otherwise there will be scouring and damage.

Is this the case? The cassettes i normally use are just the 10 speed 105.

Ideally you want as many of the sprockets on an alloy carrier/spider as possible. Even then you’ll probably end up with a bit of cosmetic scoring.

Might need to look elsewhere then, have a mental stumbling block on spending alot of money on cassettes!
