I’ve busted the rear wheel badly on my Trek EX9. Thinking of buying a new wheel with a Hope 2 hub.

My current busted wheel has 142 x 12mm bolt thru. As the Hope hub comes with QR, do I need the :

X12 thru or 12mm bolt thru?

X12…the end caps are a bit longer (142mm vs 135mm).

Try and make sure it is a Pro2 Evo hub (not that there will be many wheels being built with older Pro 2 hubs) as they have a different design and cope with 12mm axles better.
A number of people had problems with 135mm pro2 hubs and 12mm maxle light axles.
