got some Hope Hoop XC6 wheels, used them mostly for racing, but my training wheels broke so have been using them more regularly,

I am a good stone under the weight limit of 13.4 stone (85kg), however spokes keep breaking at the flared end (hub end), is this a sign of being over the weight limit? or would they break elsewhere if I was?
