Loads of cars of all brands must have this problem, default fix at the garage is a replacement compressor, aircon recharge and labour = £££

Bugger. Got mine fixed for £600, and that was with a 3rd party replacement. Original Honda part over £1k !!!!!

Though mine was making horrible noises and they claimed it had seized and could cause the belt to seize and wreck other things, so little choice.

Oh and I did the relay change as also had read that might have been the issue. Though it would then just need a recharge, but then it was making horrible noises so took it to Honda.

Still, it’s really the only fault it’s had over the years. I’ve paid as much almost annually with previous cars of similar ages with various fixes.

Horrible noises sounds like the £600 repair was needed!
