    looking to have break somewhere near Nice on the cheap (I know, not the cheapest place to be looking)

    has anyone used homeaway?

    if so did it all go smoothly?

    Booked a villa near Nerja last year without any problems.

    Along with VRBO, Homeaway are one of the biggest listing sites for owner owned/operated holiday rentals. My bosses use it for their properties. Should all be legit.

    Yes, last week. All good – apart from owner had a few ‘hidden’ bits of charges not listed, so I will leave some feedback…

    Yes – for a holiday house in Iceland with an owner that lived in London. No problems at all.
