For good quality or low cost?
An unusual level or item to be covered?

No experience with working from home cover but for buildings and contents with bikes and medical equipment at and away from home Shielas Wheels came out top for me.

I’m sure I’ll not be the last to suggest them – following recommendations from here I went with pedal cover and they were excellent to deal with.

John Lewis Bespoke , you will need to phone them for a quote .

If you’re in a rural area, we’ve found NFU Mutual good to deal with, competitive on premium – and have paid out without hassle on the rare occasions when we’re made a claim. Such that, even if we were to look elsewhere and found a better deal, we might just stay with them..

Other option is to find an insurance broker – that’s what I needed to do to insure an empty house; was almost surprised to find there were still brokers about!!

I can second Pedal Cover, independent broker using a AXA policy. Pleasure to deal with, basically said when I renewed the policy ‘oh just sort the bank transfer out in the next week or so, I don’t have to pay AXA for 3 weeks’ rather refreshing and somewhat less money grubbing!

In my second year with them only 1 years no claims, policy still came down a bit even with insurance tax going up.

Excellent cover for bikes in the garage and away from home and for valuables providing they are less than 10k each item they do not need to be specified.
