Been on auto renewal for a few years and noticed this year the premium was over £1,100. Looked at last year £665.
Went online for quotes and can get the same cover for £98 – with the same insurer…….

Pleased to have saved £1000, but now peeved at paying so much last year and previously. Going to phone them tomorrow so they can explain.

Was paying £665. Hadn’t re-negotiated I suppose. Working long hours, young kids, bikes to use and fix etc.
Working much less now, so have time to sort these things.
