I have a Sony TV and Blu Ray player that I purchased last Xmas, my hi fi is really old and most of the bits don't work anymore so I thought that it was about time to go for a home cinema system. It needs to be able to play CD's (the blu ray can handle that i think), accept an audio input for my turntable, run Sky Plus, the TV sound, Xbox 360 sound and Wii sound and if at all possible let me play my I-pod through it as well. Is this possible in today's integrated world and if it is what should I be looking for?

you'll need to be using speaker wire with a cross sectional area of at least 2 meters and interconnects spun from gold plated hair of siberian virgins

seriously though, your only sticking point will be your turntable. you may need to buy a separate phono stage. other than that check out what hifi or similar and pick the one that works best/looks best
