    Do you have to use the internal plastic tube spacer on a Hope bb or can it be run without one?

    it can be run without but the tube helps keep cack out of the bearings ( stops cack that gets in the seatube sitting on the bearings)

    Hope can supply these as individual parts if you require one of a different size. I got a standard mtb centre tube for a few pounds throgh my local bike shop so i could convert a hope road bb to a mtb bb
