I happen to think that intelligence is generally an overrated virtue - especially on here. There are plenty of other equally important considerations.
As far as my 'superior intelligence' as you call it, is concerned, I happen to know that it is very average indeed. When I was 13 years old I took part in properly conducted QIs tests. And I can completely assure you, that I am not much more than average. Whether you believe that, is up to you.
What I don't mind admitting is that, imo, I am relatively well-informed (maybe that's what you mean?). But that is a completely different ballgame altogether, and has nothing whatsoever to do with 'intelligence'. There are plenty of people on here who are undoubtedly highly intelligent, and yet often appear to be rather ill-informed. In my case, I would put down to mostly luck and circumstances
