I have a Middleburn ISIS RS8 with an SKF BXC600 BB on my SS. Now, this has been fine for the last year but, every 4 or 5 rides, following getting really shi*&y it starts to creak.
I check the bolt torques each time I ride, all fine.
I am sure the BB is fine. I take the crank arms off, re-grease the splines, put it back together, all fine again.
I have tried copper anti sieze grease and molybdenum disulphide, seem to last about the same.
Question: Should I be greasing them, if so with what, anyone any brainwaves, or just keep the maintenance going. The frustrating thing I think is the BB is fine!!
