Hi I’m hoping to pop my quantocks cherry tommorow or Wednesday just wondering where is the best start point and how east some of the dh trails are to find along with some other fun trails. Is the blue ball pub a good start point?? I’m open to suggestions

park at crowcombe gate.

DH trails at triscombe to the south east

pick a combe to the north west.

I think you’ll struggle to find a bad bit and you’ll certainly never get STW to agree over the best bit.

That’s great I will park up and just have a adventure!!

Just take a look at the OS map (and have one/print out with you), some of the Combes are damper than others. Take a decent jacket it’s quite windswept up top. We had low cloud come in and couldn’t see anything for a bit as well as getting soaked.
