just looked at my back car seat and there are holes in the leather seat. Around the hole is a sticky/ black tar like substance ( the seats are black). As i looked at the seat, a ‘moth’ like insect flew out. No corrosive or damaging liquids have been near the seat, so i’m wondering whther this is the work of a moth and the sticky black substance is some form of residue left after eating. Anyone had anything similar or know whether moths would do this?
