IIRC Shimano discs are all PM with an adapter if required. My LX, SLX and XT are.

Do the brakes come with rotors? If so, you will need this adaptor-

It means you can keep using the 160mm rotors.

XTR calipers still come in IS and post mount versions. If you need to fit a IS caliper to a post mount fork, then Hope make the adaptor you need (part number HBSM20H) but you will have to run a 180mm disc...that Giant one above looks similar and I'd be very surprised If you can still run a 160mm rotor with it

You say your bike is postmount, but in a subsequent post you say the brakes are IS and they are "on your bike". So are you looking to change to a postmount fork and need to know if the brakes will convert, or are you just confused with all the crazy standards? This will help us to help you.
When I posted it, it read back like it was a little bit blunt. This was not my intention, I'm just trying to get all the info I can in order to help you out.

No need at all for an adapter when running a post-mount caliper on post-mount forks and 160mm disk, just bolt it straight on.
