A friend brought round his specialized as his shock was leaking oil so I started to strip down and tried to take the top of the shock of the damper shaft and its sheared off some goon on last atempt to fix has loaded up with lock tite where will I be able to get a new one its a fox float triad

A bit late now, but you’e supposed to use heat to release the loctite before trying to dis-assemble it. I’d probably try one of the smaller suspension tuners to see if they have any scrap shocks you could rob, or stick a wanted ad up,new parts are expensive, and only available as part of a service from Mojo.Next option is a replacement shock, new ones sometimes come up on CRC etc at bargain prices.
