I have recently, in a hugely vain and stupid move – bought a replacement rebound adjuster for my Floats, since the old one has faded to pink and looks gash.
Now – it arrived, to my delight very quickly, but – the allen bolt that holds it in is the tiniest thing ever!
My smallest Allen Key is 1.5mm, way to big.
Presumed it needed a 1mm so ordered one from the local hardware store (princely sum of 25p) – too small! Anyway, clearly the size I need is halfway between!
Has anyone else had this issue?
In deperation – I tried to get it out by winding the knob fully anti-clockwise hoping to loosen it, but have ended up pulling out the piece it connects into, great. So now I need some patience and a hammer to get that back in, and a ludicrous sized allen key!
I know that the 2009 onwards ones have a 1.5mm, presumably owing to this very issue. Thanks Fox, Thanks a lot!
