  • Help: Need to view an excel file on a Mac. Can anyone convert it for me?

There's a results file I want to view from an event I was in but it's on the club's website as an excel file. Any way I can view this on a Mac without office…the trial period has ended. Conversion software etc?

Or if I can't do it without a load of faffing, would someone be kind enough to download it, pdf it and e-mail it to me?

    Cheers

Grand job, so I just download Neo Office, then import the excel file from the club website and open with Neo Office? Simple as that?

upload it to Google Docs http://docs.google.com/ – it is on online 'office' package

ypu can use your browser (works with firefox and safari) to view and edit the spreadsheet direct in the browser – you could also download it as csv, html, text, open office, pdf..

saves the bother of installing extra software

if you already have an existing google log in say for email or blogger etc then you can use it straight away, if not you just need to sign up

Do you not have 'Numbers' on your mac? That'll open it

    Are you on Snow Leopard?

You can open it in the Finder using the quicklook option.
