and i really could do with getting this fixed asap as im away for 3 weeks working and need it for skype.

My new laptop connects fine to Virgin wireless, however my old one running xp which was connected fine previously will not show my connection any more, but will show my neighbours.

Any suggestions as to how i get the damn thing working again???

Sorry seriously, is the SSID being broadcast?

Delete all the wireless profiles and start again, sometimes a wireless client will only show a certain nimber of SSIDs.

Refresh the drivers?

Reboot the router?

cheers guys, forget it though, the laptop has just died, that or the screen has gone.
