So. In true greedy fashion I want two new bikes. An adventure/off road tourer and an out and out summer only roadie. Nothing too flashy the Longitude looks ideal for the former and a 105 equipped carbon Roadie from any number of big names.

I can only afford one of these. At the moment I have a Turner Sultan and an older Spesh Tricross. Oh and a lovely SS Shand for high and dry days…

My options are –

buy the Genesis and continue to use the old trusty Tricross as my roadie(heavy and cumbersome) and maybe the Genesis will prove to be the elusive one MTB to rule them all and I can get rid of the Sultan….

Or buy a Roadie and fit out the Tricross in tourer mode to include less challenging off road stuff and keep the Sultan for proper off road stuff.

Or just go mental and buy both nd hope the OH somehow doesn’t notice unit lthe acceptable period of bike-purchase rage has passed?
