    Hello,

I'm breaking a bike which i've had in storage for a couple of years. I'm about to sell the RS SIDs which were on it, but can't remember the version. They are approx 2005 with lockout (not remote). They have the usual postive and negative air chambers. Are V and disc mount and have rebound adjust.

    Pics:

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers

    organic355 – lol

Slogo – That depends on the verions. Did they do Race, World Cup and Team versions back then?

They did world cup ones, but they aint them. The WCs had gold stanchions, and were all blue IIRC.

On further checking, they are possibly 2004 SID Teams as they have the climb it control. Might email SRAM to be sure.

    Definately Teams from 04/05

You're thinking of the 2001 'SID Race' which had ti nitride on the stantions. The first World Cups were the Electric Blue/Rollin' Green jobs with the carbon crown in 2003.

I'd agree with the above that those are 2004/05 (same fork) Teams though.

For clarity, the SID SL from the same period had white decals and a red lockout lever (and are flexy as hell 🙁 ).

Thanks everyone for the help. From the above, I can be sure that they are definitely 2004/05 Teams.

Actually the SLs were earlier, when the models were XC/SL/Race in 2001 and XC/SL/Carbon in 2002.

By the time the Team model was around they were called Race/Team/World Cup.

Didn't know that, thanks. Guess mine are getting on for a decade old then…
