Bought a Giro phase online (i know should have tried before i bought it) – rode in it yesterday and my head is totally the wrong shape!!

You should be able to send it back as long as it’s in a saleable condition.
Due to my LBS’s not stocking a wide range of helmets I took a gamble on few online and simply sent back the ones that didn’t fit.
Had no issue’s with the company either.

Send them an e-mail for confirmation beforehand.

It’s been worn on a ride so very clearly isn’t in saleable condition.

If you’d tried it on and not liked it you could have returned it, but after a ride I don’t believe you can use the DSR rights any more- using it like that probably implies that you’ve accepted it. Maybe one of our legal experts can advise?

Under DSR you are only allowed to inspect the item.

not now – sold it. The bell variant i bought (in a shop) yesterday fits like a glove!! And only £24

cruzhekler what make of helmet did you have before as most people know some people have a Bell shaped head and some people have a Giro shaped head and the rest are just some weird shape 😀
