    Hi,

    Have a Xperia Z1 which I’m led to believe can do bluetooth 4 and ANT+ for heart rate straps. Wondering if there are any recommendations for either for endomondo.

    also, any wrist strap transmitters about yet, not over keen on chest straps unless I have to.

    Have you had a look on the endomondo website? I’m not familiar with it as I use Strava but I know Strava recommend some to work with their software so might be best checking the endomondo site in case it has to be a specific type.

    No idea whether Endomondo has any specific requirements but if you can do ANT+ you could do worse than the Garmin ones.

    If you want wrist strap heart rate, there are 2 available now: Mio Link or Scosche Rhythm+. Each costs about £80. Both of these work with ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, so should work with Endomondo.
