    Hi,

    Bought a new fork with a 1 1/8th tapered steerer.
    My current frame fits a conventional hope headset 1 1/8th.
    Can i put this fork on to the frame? If so with what headset? Guy at lbs told me it can’t be done. Need someone to confirm.
    The frame is a specialized 2008 enduro; not a 44mm headtube.

    Can it be done?

    don’t worry, i’ve found that it can’t be done, now I need a new frame…
