I’ve noticed the top FSA bearing on my Whyte T130 is a little rough, bottom one feels peachy, is it worth considering an alternative or just replace like for like?

Get the best quality sealed cartridge one that fits you are happy to pay for, whats in the top spec FSA one they do? Does it just need a clean?

Happy to pay for quality, I did take the bearings out today and cleaned, which did improve but not completely sort the top one.

IME, it’s unusual for the top to give up before the bottom, unless the bottom is very well-protected
I’d buy a new bearing, I had good service from Wych recently
