Does it matter what make the bearings are?

I have an FSA headset on my 2010 Giant Reign XO and found these..

Different fit in different headsets. You need to get the bearing code from the blue seal on them, stick that in eBay and you’ll get a load of matches.

At the end of the day FSA/Hope/Cane Creak etc don’t make bearings, just sell them under their own name to be compatible with a part. The code identifies the dimensions for the bearing.

Cheers – I’ll look for that tonight.
