I’ll definatley be out just not decided where yet. What time and start point you thinking??

Can’t offer any condition advice as not been up there for a couple of weeks.

It’s ace round there at the moment – a few inches of snow, getting nicely compacted, over sheet ice in places, which isn’t so lovely – mind the steps on Middle Moor for example – some of the flatter stuff near the Shooting Cabin etc. But nice. With ice tyres anyway. But there aren’t any big drifts, there’s a line on most popular trails and unless it snows again, I can’t see it changing. Cold though, but you knew that…

Oh, and I’m thinking something high-ish, maybe the Roych and Jacobs 🙂

I might be around in the morning. Very icy under the snow, good laugh though.

I’ll probably start at The Roman Lakes (Marple), over to Hayfield, Up Snake Path, Middle Moor, Up and over Lantern Pike, Rowarth and back to The Roman Lakes. Roughly 20 mile but not sure on duration with all the snow and that.

I do have to be back home for 14:00 though as got a few things to sort out.

I’d look at leaving The Roman Lakes carpark at 09:00

Let me know if your interested.

    Carl
