    I think i've chopped too much off my low riser bar… its gone from 700mm to 620mm!! need to try them still but they look too narror… it is for an xc bike though…

    Just thought that i'd share my annoyance 🙂

    What size were you aiming for?

    680mm=win, IMO.

    I'd have been sticking bits on not chopping them off to start with 🙂

    haha yeah fair correction!!
    I have this idea that I can put my lock-on grips a bit further down the bar to gain a little extra width… we'll see

    Top idea, can't imagine why people even bother buying wider bars when they could do this instead…

    620mm on an XC bike is fine! I used to run a 580mm flat bar on my race bike, which I have now changed to a 620mm low riser. It even feels wide to me!

    Wow 620!
    My original GT had 500mm flat.
    XC bike has 590mm flat. Orbea Alma.
    Fun bike has 650mm low riser and feels too wide.

    Wouldn't have thought you'd have any problems, except with the fashion police. 😉
