    Anyone seen any shims that will let me fit normal size bars to oversize stems? Could easily do it with a bit of 3mm alloy but shiny ones would be nice.

    I can’t remember who makes them, but I got a set from Edinburgh Bikes a while back for a fiver.

    Does it matter if they’re shiny if they’re hidden by the stem clamp??

    Wiggle used to have them and i am sure CRC still do , but do you really want to use them ? better with O/S stem with O/S bars

    Found. SJSC for 1.99
    Aim is to experiment with an adjustable stem that is oversize before parting with money for yet another stem. Only on the cx bike.Ta anyway.
