    And I can’t get over what an amazing place it is, and just how mind blowing genomics is. I knew sod all about it really, but it’s astonishing. Apparently they can now sequence a full human genome in 10 hours. The implications for medicine are seemingly endless. I guess it surprised me that we don’t make a much bigger deal of it.

    Did you know Frederick Sanger is one of the few people to have been awarded the Nobel prize twice?
