Do you use ‘normal’ track bikes.
    What tyres
    Ratios
    ?

Yes “normal” track bikes, but they tend to be older to get the clearances, forks especially can be an issue

tyres, anything that grips, top riders go for large volume dugast tubs with diamond tread at a lowish pressure, skinny cross can be used like the discontined tigre cross

start in the high 60’s inch gear then work down 😉

it’s bonkers fun and really friendly, Mildenhall on the August BH weekend is the mecca, lots of local leagues, but you need a racing licence

ridden Mildenhall, Roundhay and Carlisle did rubbish (aka last) but loved it

Ride anything Carl. As above. Mildenhall is great fun. Will be out next Tuesday after how many years? Tim
